To be considered for this position you must be qualified as a Registered Nurse with a current active NMC Pin.
As a Nurse Your Key Duties Include:
1. Responsible for driving and running the unit alongside clinical duties in the home. This includes observation, medication, reviewing and evaluating individual care plans, and providing clinical guidance to the care team and delivering best practice continually.
2. Accountable for ensuring policies and standards meet our high clinical standards and offering clinical guidance to the whole care team, being crucial in helping with all CQC tasks.
3. You will forge a real connection with our residents and their families, giving them the kindness, support, and care they deserve.
4. Taking responsibility for the well-being of our residents and ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
5. Coaching and guiding the team, providing formal and informal teaching programmes for colleagues and other care professionals.
6. Carrying out assessments and developing, implementing, and evaluating individualised care plans for each of our residents.
7. Monitoring work areas and practices to ensure they are safe and conform to the relevant standards, policies, and legislation.
The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
1. Ability to lead a team of care staff.
2. Passionate about delivering great care and supporting the residents and their families.
3. A team player who engages well with others.
4. Able to communicate effectively at all levels.
5. Able to demonstrate awareness and understanding of the CI/CQQ/RQIA National Care Standards.
6. Demonstrate an understanding and application of relevant legislation in relation to the role.
7. Able to deliver nursing care in a clinical environment.
Benefits:
The successful Nurse will receive an excellent salary up to GBP22.71 per hour and the annual salary is up to GBP51,960.48 per annum. We currently have vacancies for both days and night shifts available. In return for your hard work and commitment, you will receive the following generous benefits:
