Being anIndependent Living Scheme Officer is a challenging but hugely rewarding role empowering our customers to thrive in their homes. Youll have regular customer contact, complete annual independent living reviews, manage communal repairs and be responsible for H&S checks on site. The right person will be compassionate and patient and have a real understanding for the needs of older people. You will need to be visible to customers, visiting sites regularly, so it will require a good amount of travelling, but developing those relationships and providing that essential point of contact for our older residents makes such a difference. This role is permanent, full-time working 37.5hours per week, Monday-Friday,and subject to an enhanced DBS check. Youll support customers at our schemein Bishops Cleeve (GL52 8HY). A full UK driving licence is required as you may need to support other schemes from time to time. You will be someone who: Is curious and dont shy away from having difficult conversations Is tenacious and resilient - doing what it takes to achieve the right outcome Has a track record of being self-motivated, flexible and able to manage your own workload Has a reputation for first rate influencing, negotiating and relationship building skills.
