The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Buying Manager to join our Accessories and Jewellery team here at QVC UK. Reporting to the Buying Director Fashion & Accessories, you will oversee the development and expansion of QVC's brand strategy for the Accessories area.

* Develop the product strategy for your category, driving newness by always identifying and translating trends with our customer in mind.
* Foster a curated assortment that aligns with the QVC brand and multiplatform strategy across proprietary and national brands.
* Oversee focus on newness/external trends, supporting the identification of growth brands and acquiring exclusive products.
* Lead vendor and supplier sourcing and management ensuring compliance.
* Manage OTB, reviewing sales plans, budgets and forecasts, reacting to customer trends and trading environments.
* Analyse customer metrics and apply those insights.
* Collaborate with teams in market and also internationally.
* Manage buying team of respective category in daily activities and tasks.
* Define alongside the Director of Merchandising strategic team structures to potentialize the business.
* Formulate goals and create an environment that enables employees to fulfil the agreed goals motivated by performance.
* Oversee the recruitment, training and performance management of the buying team, following QVC guiding principles.
* Set the team short- and long-term goals following our department and team goals.
* Inspire a team of brand ambassadors, especially in their interaction with vendors.

* Deep experience within a head office buying environment, at Senior Buyer or Buying Manager level, with excellent experience working within the accessories arena.
* Act like a business owner; you are a networker, negotiator, and respected leader of successful teams.
* Deliver results with speed, getting the right things done quickly.
* Inspire creativity, champion change, and keep the customer at the center of everything you do.
