What skills and experience we're looking for
An opportunity has arisen to join our Central Team in Newcastle as an HR Admin Assistant, working alongside the HR Admin Officer. The successful candidate should have a proactive and flexible approach as the role is wide ranging and covers all aspects of HR including recruitment, note taking, query handling and payroll administration.
The successful candidate must have a minimum of GCSE grade C in Maths and English and be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office. Previous HR experience and /or qualification is desirable, however training opportunities will be available. There will be a requirement to travel to our other Trust sites as part of the role.
Essential criteria:
GCSE Maths & English Grade C or above (or equivalent)
Experience of providing administrative support in a busy office environment
Experience of working in a team
Excellent interpersonal skills in order to deal confidently with managers and staff at all levels
Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing
A high level of accuracy and excellent attention to detail
Ability to use Microsoft packages such as Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint, and other IT system
