Job Description: Durham Cricket Pathway Performance Coach
Job Summary:
The objective of Durham Cricket pathway programme is to identify, select and develop the next generation of Durham players. The programme's objective is to supply home-grown talent that is capable of succeeding for Durham Cricket and ultimately England.
The Pathway Performance Coach will provide high-level coaching support to the Pathway programme, including coaching and managing two County Age Group teams, assisting the Academy and EPP programmes. The successful candidate will also assist the Head of Talent Development/Academy Director with talent identification and recruitment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide a high level of coaching support to the Durham Pathway programme on an individual and group basis including the Academy and the Durham Emerging Players Programme (EPP).
2. To be the lead coach for two County Age Group teams for the winter and summer programme.
3. Support the Head of Talent Development on talent identification and recruitment to ensure the strategic aims of producing home-grown Durham Cricket and England players.
4. Assist in implementing Durham ethos across the pathway, including its technical aspects as well as our desired values and behaviours.
5. Assist in communicating and promoting the Durham ethos across our Pathway and the ECB regional programme.
6. To attend and contribute at player management and strategy group meetings and support Durham’s culture and direction.
Qualifications:
Essential:
* Minimum ECB Level 2 coaching qualification
* Current DBS
* First aid and Safeguarding Young People Training
* Demonstrable experience in coaching at both youth and high-performance level
* Holder of a full driving licence
Desired:
* ECB Level 3 coaching qualification

HOURS:
Full time 35 hours per week
