Situated in Millom, Southern Cumbria, just outside the Lake District National Park, HMP Haverigg is a Category D Male establishment with a capacity of up to 650.
Main duties of the job
Working in secure healthcare will bring new challenges and we have opportunities for Sunstantive and Bank Nurses, Healthcare Support Workers and Advanced Nursing roles. The days are varied and there is a wide range of training and development opportunities. You will be part of a wider multi-disciplinary team delivering primary care, mental health and substance misuse services to our patients. This includes nurse led clinics, administering medication and treatments, emergency response, triage, wound care, examinations and referrals. No two days are the same working in our friendly and supportive team.
