We're looking for an experienced Bodyshop Manager to lead our Durham site and drive performance across all areas of the operation. About the Role As Bodyshop Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the site. This includes leading a high-performing team, managing workflow, ensuring repair excellence, and driving profitability. Key Responsibilities Oversee all bodyshop operations, ensuring efficiency and high standards of repair Lead and support a multi-skilled team including paint sprayers, panel beaters, MET technicians, estimators, and admin staff Manage site KPIs, budgets, and performance targets Develop strong relationships with insurance partners, suppliers, and customers Ensure compliance with industry regulations, health and safety, and environmental standards Handle customer queries and resolve complaints effectively Stay updated on repair methods and industry developments Manage recruitment and ensure vacancies are filled promptly What We’re Looking For Proven experience in a Bodyshop Manager role or similar within the automotive repair industry Strong leadership, organisational, and problem-solving skills Deep understanding of body repair techniques and workshop operations Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage costs and drive commercial performance Proficient in bodyshop management systems and reporting tools Committed to delivering high-quality customer service Why Join Steer Automotive Group?
