Position Summary The team is responsible for the European sales of smartphones, tablets, smartwatches, earbuds and laptops to the fastest growing channel account in the region and worldwide online sales leader. We are part of a Centre of Excellence wider team (CoE) within the Samsung European Office gathering the best expertise in online sales, marketing, finance and supply chain which aims at accelerating business transformation and growth with this channel account. With the challenging global environment for traditional retail sales the relevance of channels selling online only (pure players) increased massively during the last years for consumers and purchasing behaviours have been permanently transformed. Our vision is to work with our channel partner to accompany this fundamental change in our industry and develop the best customer journey and experience for our products and services which will deliver an unprecedented growth. We are data driven, all decision we make is based on data analysis and all results are measured against transparent numeric critical metrics. To achieve this, we work with our local country sales and marketing teams in our European subsidiaries, colleagues at our HQ in Suwon and functional experts (e.g. marketing, legal). Role And Responsibilities You will support commercial activities in all the different aspects, including but not limited to: Creation, launch and maintenance of sales dashboards to monitor the account performance across Europe and to support commercial strategy recommendations. Optimise the use of the different data sources available in the company Ad-hoc analysis of the sales data & critical metrics to recommend corrective actions when necessary Monitoring of competition performance, strategy and sales tactics Tracking of the proper online execution of sales and marketing agreements, both on PC and mobile portal interfaces New product launch coordination to secure Product Description Pages readiness and accuracy on time for the different categories in all markets Support to the coordination of Go To Market activities for key product launches with subsidiaries Facilitate the communication between European and local teams including identification and sharing of reference cases to all subsidiaries Support the implementation of strategic sales enablers to increase Samsung in house share and meet sales target Skills And Qualifications To be successful, you will possess the following skills and attributes: Sales or marketing experience in online sales dealing with data analysis Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint proficiency Detail-oriented and analytical approach Excellent English and general communication skills – both written and spoken Ability to evolve in multicultural environment and appetite to always learn from others Confidence to interface with the customer and to create efficient working relationship Self-starter with little need for outside motivation, desire to constantly exceed targets and expectations Enjoy creating relationship and interacting with multiple colleagues in other countries Experience in managing several deliverable requests in parallel and in prioritising tasks to meet deadlines Ability to work and stay positive under heavy pressure Experience in consumer electronic industry a plus What does success look like?
