If you’re passionate about supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and fostering their academic and social growth, this opportunity is for you As a valued Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in creating a nurturing environment where every student can flourish. You’ll collaborate with teachers to design engaging lessons tailored to meet individual needs, ensuring that all students feel included and valued in the classroom. Your Responsibilities Will Include: Providing personalised one-on-one and small group support to students with SEN. Assisting teachers in the delivery of engaging and effective lessons. Cultivating a supportive and inclusive classroom atmosphere. Monitoring student progress and offering constructive feedback. Supporting students during break times and various extracurricular activities. Helping to maintain a safe, stimulating, and enriching learning environment. What We’re Looking For: Previous experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant is preferred but not essential. A solid understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Flexibility to adapt to the diverse needs of individual students. An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is required. A genuine enthusiasm for working with children with special educational needs.
