£38,844.00per annum (FTE)plus Essential car user allowance

The opportunity:
As a Neighbourhood Officer, your primary responsibility is to deliver a high-quality, person-centred housing management service. You will work collaboratively with both internal and external partners to ensure that services are tailored to meet the unique needs of customers, facilitating their ability to sustain tenancies effectively. Playing a vital role in ensuring the provision of high-quality housing services that prioritise the needs and well-being of tenants. By embracing a compassionate, collaborative, and holistic approach, you will contribute to fostering stable and sustainable communities.
What we need from you:
* Relevant Housing qualification or the ability to demonstrable housing knowledge and experience.
* Sound knowledge and application of housing law, housing issues and legislation, including the Renting Homes Wales Act.
* Knowledge of welfare benefits legislation.
* An understanding of compassionate and modern housing management methodologies, such as restorative approaches, psychologically informed environments and trauma informed service models.
* IT literate with ability to use a range of software & systems.
* Understanding and experience of Equality and Diversity in service delivery.
* Flexibility with working location – this role is based from our Head Office (CF24 1GG), but is a community-based role, travel and expenses to be discussed at interview.
