About the role:
We are looking for a Lecturer in Health and Social Care to join our Care, Childcare and Counselling department at Bedford Campus. As a Lecturer you will play a pivotal role in the success of our students through:
4. Preparing, delivering, assessing and verifying subject specialisms on a range of courses and levels.
5. Supporting and guiding students to achieve success and realise their potential.
6. Managing students’ learning and provide a high-quality learning experience.
7. Contributing pro-actively to developments in the Centre in curriculum development and innovative teaching.
8. Participating in marketing and promotion activities to support a range of programmes and learning opportunities.
About you:
9. Certificate in Education ( or willing to work towards)
10. Heath and Social Care related qualification at Level 3 and above or equivalent in related subject area
11. English and mathematics or similar at GCSE grade A-C or equivalent
12. Vocational experience in Health and Social care
13. Experience of working effectively with people from diverse backgrounds
14. Ability to demonstrate excellent organisational skills and work effectively to deadlines
15. Ability to communicate effectively and confidently face to face, on the telephone and in writing
