My Client is recruiting for a Mechanical Engineer/Senior Mechanical Engineer in the Water Sector
They have an extensive portfolio of UK, Overseas and Globally delivered projects, helping clients address asset creation, process improvement and plant optimisation needs. Their locally focused teams incorporate expert electrical, ICA, process, mechanical and civil engineers who provide a multidisciplinary approach to solving our clients' problems in innovating, creative, managing, building and investing in water and wastewater infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
1. Willing to lead and/or contribute on feasibility, outline and detailed design projects.
2. Develop fee bids for tendering/bidding on projects.
3. Design management/coordination on multi-discipline D&B projects.
4. Liaise with internal and external clients within the UK and worldwide.
5. Take ownership of specific 'skill areas' or activities within our technical knowledge networks.
6. Supporting and mentoring, with the possibility of formal line management responsibilities.
7. Contributing to new innovative ideas/making suggestions for innovation.
8. Opportunity to present your project work at company meetings or at conferences.
9. Working with and developing our digital tools and products.
Experience and Qualifications:
10. Degree-qualified within mechanical engineering.
11. Ideally a Chartered Engineer or working towards chartership.
12. You will have UK water/wastewater industry experience.
13. A developing external profile and reputation; a desire and willingness to raise the profile of oneself and the Company.
14. Willingness to contribute to and develop our technical knowledge networks.
