The Role of Business Development Manager
1. This is a field/home based role.
2. As Business Development Manager, you will be tasked with targeting predominantly SME organisations in and around the Leicester area.
3. The successful Business Development Manager will target hospitality, pubs, restaurants, retail, and commercial businesses selling sustainable solutions/service contracts to businesses.
4. There will also be some responsibility for managing larger strategic accounts.
5. The role is approximately 80% new business and 20% account management. Key aspects of the role will include self-generating appointments, following internal leads, building a pipeline, and negotiating.
6. The incoming Business Development Manager will inherit the most well-established area.
7. The average Business Development Manager is earning £1.5k+ per month on top of their basic salary.
