We are looking for a Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join our team in Sevenoaks. In this role, you will offer occupational therapy support and deliver interventions to students dealing with social, emotional, and mental health challenges. You will take a holistic approach to students’ wellbeing, considering physical, social, psychological, and environmental needs. You will actively participate in the Occupational Therapy and multi-disciplinary teams. You will manage referrals and plan age-appropriate therapy programs. You will conduct assessments and maintain confidential records. You will collaborate with staff to support students socially and academically. You will provide high-quality therapy services and support to students, parents, and carers. You will ensure confidentiality and contribute to safeguarding. You will continuously review and evaluate services. You will manage the Occupational Therapy Assistant. You will promote best practice in safeguarding, health, and safety. You will foster positive partnerships within the school community and uphold equality and diversity. What we are looking for in an Occupational Therapist: HCPC registered. Relevant degree in Occupational Therapy. Demonstrated evidence of highly effective clinical reasoning skills. Relevant post-qualification experience, typically at least two years, working as an Occupational Therapist.
