This includes ensuring the home operates in compliance with relevant regulations and policies while promoting a culture of safety and well-being for both residents and staff.
* Clinical Supervision and Care Delivery: Providing direct clinical care as a staff nurse, while also supporting and supervising the team to ensure that all care is individualised, compassionate, and in line with the company's ethos.
* Resident Welfare and Safety: Championing the physical and emotional well-being of residents. This includes maintaining a safe environment, identifying areas for improvement, and promoting a person-centred approach to care that addresses the specific needs and preferences of each resident.
* Staff Development and Support: Assisting in the training, mentoring, and development of staff. This ensures the team remains skilled and motivated to deliver the best care possible, while fostering a supportive and collaborative work environment.
* Quality Assurance and Compliance: Ensuring high standards are met in all aspects of care, including administering medications, maintaining accurate records, and adhering to health and safety standards. You will also assist in audits and monitoring to maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Shift Leadership: You will be required to take on shifts on the floor, acting as a clinical lead and staff nurse when necessary. This includes managing a team of nurses and healthcare assistants, prioritising care tasks, and responding to emergencies as needed.
This role is designed to ensure that the home continues to provide exceptional care while supporting staff and driving continuous improvement in the quality of care delivered. Your leadership and clinical expertise will be vital to maintaining the home's high standards.
