Santander Consumer Finance UK (SCUK) is based in Redhill, Surrey and provides motor finance to a network of dealerships throughout the United Kingdom. We are currently looking for an Operational Delivery Manager to join our Operational Transformation & MI department. This role will lead and deliver strategic and operational transformation projects and initiatives throughout SCUK’s Operation including managing and developing a team of business analysts and managers to support the changes. Please note this role is a hybrid role with at least 3 days a week in the Redhill office. Remote workers will not be considered. What you’ll be doing: Lead the design, planning and execution of transformation programmes and initiatives ensuring alignment with business strategy and regulatory expectations Manage the delivery of end-to-end change initiatives across core operational areas such as Onboarding, Aftersales and Controls Lead a team responsible for assessing and implementing business change ensuring alignment with organisational goals and objectives Collaborate with technology teams to support digital transformation and automation efforts particularly within core process, driving standardization, automation and optimization of key business units to improve turnaround time Oversee the team’s analysis of existing processes, systems and data to identify inefficiencies, control gaps and opportunities for value creation Translate complex operational data into actionable insights and improvement plans Manage post implementation issues effectively from the delivery of projects and ensure there are appropriate plans in place to rectify Own the operational transformation roadmap and oversee prioritisation of initiatives Monitor KPI’s and performance metrics to assess the impact of implemented changes and inform continuous improvement Ensure all transformation activities are delivered in adherence to internal governance frameworks and relevant financial regulations Identify and mitigate operational risks through better controls, improved processes and strengthened accountability structures Lead stakeholder engagement between Operations, IT and the wider business Develop and implement change management strategies that support employee adoption, minimise disruption and embed new ways of working Provide training and upskilling to team members on change techniques Conduct thorough development and performance evaluations to maximize team potential and address areas for improvement Adhering to our commitment to Consumer Duty ensuring we put our customers’ needs first and set higher and clearer standards of consumer protection What we’re looking for: Significant practical experience in a similar role with demonstrable experience of successfully delivering diverse projects to time and budget Management Experience/Previous Project Management experience Proven experience delivering projects using Agile and Waterfall methodologies Must display sound time management skills by delivering activity within prescribed timeframes through the effective prioritisation of actions Natural ability to lead and manage a team of high performing individuals and understands the context of their own service area and how this impacts a diverse organisation Able to interpret requirements from a set strategy and push through to completion and relay that direction to team members Strong understanding of BA tools, techniques and frameworks Expertise in end-to-end change management Competency in data analysis and interpretation and experience working with data-driven requirements Identifies, assesses, managers and reports risks within own business area and across the business Has excellent analytical, problem solving and conceptual skills in order to develop strong methodologies We have a range of benefits available which include: Competitive salary of £60,000- £65,000 dependent on experience 30 days holiday per annum, plus bank holidays Annual bonus based on personal and company performance Car allowance Private medical cover Generous pension contributions Employee assistance programme Enhanced family friendly policies Sharesave scheme Gym passes at a reduced rate for 3,000 gyms, leisure centres etc Local retail and high street brands discounts Equal Opportunities At Santander we’re creating a thriving workplace where all colleagues feel they belong and are supported to succeed.
