Our client is a prominent provider of high-quality personal care and beauty products for both the consumer and trade market. They specialise in the design, manufacture, and distribution of product across three core areas: Owned Brands, Private Label Supply and Contract Manufacturing.
We are excited to partner with them in recruiting a Business Development Executive, who will help unlock strategic commercial opportunities and drive growth in this companies Brand division. You’ll play a key role in creating impactful presentations, supporting commercial projects and events, and managing operations to ensure exceptional customer support both internationally and domestically.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
* Prepare and deliver internal sales presentations, including brand sales summaries and EPOS reports.
* Attend meetings with new and existing customers.
* Present pricing and business terms to both new and current customers.
* Participate in networking events such as conferences and trade shows.
* Work with the Business Development Manager to research and identify commercial opportunities in new and existing markets.
* Understand and help achieve sales KPIs for both brands and customers alongside the Business Development Manager.
* Regularly update price lists and clearance lists in line with business strategies.
* Maintain and develop a database of current and potential customers.
* Collaborate with the Business Development Manager to update and manage sales forecasts.
* Oversee the product setup process, including completing New Line Forms.
* Coordinate events like conferences and territory visits with the Business Development Manager and the broader team.
* Manage the registration process for international customers, including handling documentation.
* Oversee the over labelling process for international customers.
* Support the NPD process for Off Price International customers.
* Handle sample orders for Brand Business Development Managers.
EXPERIENCE/ BACKGROUND/REQUIREMENTS:
* Industry experience with FMCG brands; preferred in health and beauty, but related categories considered.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to constructively challenge at all levels, including management.
* Proficient in briefing, analysing, and presenting data clearly and effectively.
* Experience in building brands and driving brand development.
* Ambition and hunger for success, with the energy to thrive in competitive and dynamic environments.
* Holds a full drivers licence and is commutable within one hour of Peterborough Head Office.
This role is based at the companies Peterborough location and requires 5 days a week on-site.
