Job Summary
We are now seeking an experienced and driven PR Account Director to take a lead on some key aspects within the team and play a pivotal role in the continued growth of our agency. If you’re a PR professional with strong leadership skills, a flair for client relations, and the know-how when it comes to creating consistent press coverage with a deep understanding of the beauty and lifestyle sectors, we want to hear from you.
The ideal candidate is a dynamic thinker, solutions-driven, and embodies an entrepreneurial, can-do attitude. With strong media contacts within the health, beauty, and wellness industries, you have a wealth of experience in placing consistently impactful editorial coverage and a thorough understanding of both the digital and print media landscape. You are capable of thinking both strategically and creatively across the accounts you will lead, reporting directly to the director with updates - working autonomously and managing a team.
Responsibilities
* Lead PR strategy and execution for key beauty and lifestyle clients, ensuring campaigns align with brand objectives.
* Manage a portfolio of key client accounts, building and nurturing strong relationships to become a trusted partner to continue our unrivalled client retention rate.
* Develop creative and strategic PR plans, encompassing media relations, influencer outreach, and digital campaigns.
* Oversee a team of PR account executives, guiding their development and ensuring they continue to deliver exceptional results.
* Act as the primary point of contact for senior clients, providing strategic counsel and troubleshooting any issues.
* Lead on pitching and securing press coverage in top-tier media outlets, creating innovative ways to enhance brand visibility.
* Drive new business development, identifying opportunities to grow existing accounts and secure new clients.
* Maintain a strong network of media contacts and influencers, ensuring the agency stays ahead of industry trends.
* Manage client budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and tracking campaign performance.
Qualifications & Experience
We’re looking for someone with:
* 5+ years of PR experience, preferably within a beauty, health, or lifestyle PR agency.
* Proven success in developing and executing strategic PR campaigns that deliver measurable results.
* Strong relationships with media and influencers in the beauty and lifestyle sectors.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a strong ability to lead client meetings and present ideas confidently.
* Experience managing a team, with a collaborative approach to leadership.
* A strategic mindset and a passion for driving client success.
* A proactive, creative, and solutions-oriented approach to challenges.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Freelance
Pay: £35,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 35 per week
