As the Sustainable Homes Manager, you will lead and inspire the Sustainable Homes Team, taking full accountability for delivering water efficiency, water neutrality, and sustainability initiatives that align with the organisation's long-term environmental goals.
This pivotal role involves driving strategic partnerships with developers, overseeing the implementation of innovative water-smart solutions, ensuring regulatory compliance, managing environmental incentives, and contributing to the delivery of sustainable housing. By fostering collaboration across internal and external stakeholders, this role supports the delivery of environmentally efficient, customer-focused developments, promoting a culture of sustainability and incentivising the adoption of best practices.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
* Education: Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field
* Experience: Proven experience in water efficiency and sustainability initiatives
* Project Management: Qualification in project management (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile)
* Stakeholder Engagement: Experience engaging with diverse stakeholders such as developers, local authorities, and regulators
* Incentive Design: Ability to create and promote innovative environmental incentive structures
* Water Neutrality: In-depth knowledge of water neutrality principles and practices
* Regulatory Compliance: Familiarity with sustainability compliance regulations in housing
* Financial Management: Strong budgeting and financial management skills
