We seek outstanding scientists investigating aspects of human reproductive biomedicine at the molecular, cellular, or tissue scales. Research areas of particular interest include tissue and organ dynamics, organoid development, embryology, endometriosis, and pregnancy disorders. Researchers with expertise in other biomedical research disciplines will also be considered.
The successful candidate will be based in the Clinical Sciences Research Laboratories (CSRL), located on our University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire (UHCW) campus. The CSRL provides excellent laboratory facilities and access to human tissue samples from the Tommy’s National Reproductive Health Biobank. Close interactions with the Centre for Reproductive Medicine (CRM) and Biomedical Research Unit in Reproductive Health (BRU-RH) provide access to IVF material and a robust pathway for clinical translation. Additional state-of-the-art research facilities, including advanced proteomics, microscopy, flow cytometry, genomic and bioinformatic /computational platforms, are located on the Gibbet Hill campus.
