Job Title: Principal Electrical Power Engineer Location: Barrow-in-Furness, Brough, Weymouth, Filton, Portsmouth, Frimley, Manchester – We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role Salary: Competitive What you’ll be doing: * Functional design and definition of Electrical Power Systems equipment * Authoring and reviewing technical documentation * Managing associated technical risks, assumptions and dependencies * Providing advice on electrical power technical aspects across a broad range of engineering disciplines * Engaging with customers and suppliers to provide solutions to complex problems * Taking a leading role by guiding more junior members of the team through the systems definition process * Opportunity to travel to various locations throughout the UK, including various BAE, customer and supplier sites Your skills and experiences: Essential * Degree qualified Electrical Engineering or equivalent Engineering experience * Engineering Chartership required (or significant progress towards Chartership can be demonstrated) * Significant knowledge of AC and DC electrical power systems * Strong analytical and problem solving skills Benefits: You’ll receive benefits including a competitive pension scheme, enhanced annual leave allowance and a Company contributed Share Incentive Plan.
