NRL are currently recruiting for a Field Service Engineer to work on behalf of one of our clients in the Scotland area. This role is 39hours per week + overtime & includes travel all over Scotland and the Isles.
Candidates must be no further than 1 hour drive from Galsgow.
Job Purpose:
Carry out fault finding and diagnosis to a range of diesel generator sets. Resolve electrical and mechanical engine problems. Replacing electrical and mechanical components. Carry out generator servicing.
Roles & Responsibilities:
1. All work to be carried out to reflect company high standards.
2. Carry out planned service and maintenance work on customer generators
3. Carry out remedial repairs & loadbank testing
4. Carry out panel upgrades
5. Fault find and carry out breakdown repairs to customers equipment
6. Carry out site surveys requests as required
7. Carry out duties on our company on call rota system
8. Work overtime and away from home as required.
9. Complete fully detailed reports on the REA
10. Complete and supply fully detailed timesheets in the required timeline.
11. Maintain appropriate and accurate stock van levels
12. Comply with the Company Health & Safety Policy, including carrying out general housekeeping to ensure work areas are tidy. This includes company vehicles
13. Comply with all aspects of the Company’s ISO standards: Quality management - ISO 9001:2015 / Environmental - ISO 14001: 2015 / Occupational health and safety management - ISO 45001:2018, proactively contributing to the company’s continuous improvement programme
14. Ad-hoc other duties as & when required to meet the needs of the business
15. Observe & demonstrate behaviour in line with the core values of the company
