With 30 years of designing, manufacturing and retailing garden lifestyle products we are proud to be garden building specialists and distribute our products on our own fleet of vehicles to our customers. This job is based out of our Bedford Headquarters – MK41 0LF Some duties may include: Overhead cost analysis Developing a detailed understanding of cost drivers to identify risks and opportunities and highlight areas requiring focus and branches and factories Attend weekly meetings with the operations teams to understand plans and updates for the business Regular visits and meetings with departments in HQ and UK sites Reporting and Analysis Support preparation of month end accounts for Dunster House and Overseas Factories Providing insightful commentary and analysis on financial results and KPIs Developing a detailed understanding of cost drivers to identify risks and opportunities and highlight areas requiring focus Reconciliation of bank accounts on a daily basis Ensuring balance sheet reconciliations are completed on a monthly basis with all variances addressed in a timely manner Statutory Accounts & reports Support with year-end process for Dunster House Preparation of quarterly VAT submission Hours of Work: Hours of work are 40 hours Monday-Friday 8:30-17:30 with an hour lunch Requirements GCSE English and Maths Grade B or equivalent Eligibility to work in UK ACCA or AAT qualification/part qualified To learn more about us visit our website, to see our overseas factories as well as links to non-governmental organisations and our Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives
