Your new company Are you an experienced professional with significant risk and governance experience at a senior level within a healthcare setting? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as the Head of Governance and Clinical Quality at a private hospital in SW London. Your new role You will provide guidance, oversight, and proactive recommendations regarding governance, risk, and quality standards. As the leader of the Quality and Governance team, you will work collaboratively with the clinical teams across the hospital to ensure the quality of clinical care delivered is in accordance with CQC and Health Insurer standards. You will attend MU governance meetings, coordinate audits, and lead the management of the hospital's Integrated Governance and Quality Committee. Additionally, you will make recommendations for service improvements, develop effective systems for accurately recording, monitoring, and reporting compliance, and promote the aims of the Hospital by developing and maintaining effective networks across the PMI group and with external partners within the local health economy. What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you must possess cross-functional leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and leverage a diverse team of people. You should also have a proven ability to analyse complex problems at an organisational level and to develop and successfully implement practical and workable solutions to address them. You will need to have completed relevant training or education in healthcare Risk and/or clinical Governance Management or evidence of significant experience at senior level. Previous experience with significant risk & governance experience at a senior level within a healthcare setting as well as experience of working in a highly regulated environment with a solid understanding of CQC and other regulator requirements. What you'll get in return This is a 4-month contract role paying £600pd (Umbrella), you will be expected to be on site 4 days a week.
