We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team or our Enhanced Access service. This is a position to work on a Saturday only, within the Enhanced Access clinic. There is the possibility for additional hours to be offered within Enhanced Access Monday - Friday between the hours of 6.30pm - 8pm. This role could be based at one of 2 sites, which are The Centre Surgery, Hinckley Health Centre, Hill Street, Hinckley, LE10 1DS Newbold Verdon Medical Practice, St. George Close, Newbold Verdon, LE9 9PZ The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care and will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and managing patients' health concerns. This role requires a thorough understanding of anatomy and the ability to administer medications safely and effectively. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including physical examinations and health histories. Develop and implement personalised care plans based on patient needs and medical history. Administer medications as required Provide education to patients and their families regarding health management, disease prevention, and wellness strategies. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care for patients. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards. Stay informed about advancements in medical practices and participate in continuing education opportunities. Requirements Valid Nurse Practitioner licence in accordance with local regulations. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology. Proven experience in patient care within a clinical setting is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with patients. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in clinical documentation.
