Sterling Recruitment Services are looking to recruit a time served Maintenance Technician to join our client based in Middlesbrough.
The ideal candidate will have experience in manufacturing with an electrical bias, and an ability to read mechanical/electrical schematic diagrams is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct prompt and efficient breakdown repairs as required.
Perform Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) activities, ensuring thorough documentation.
Maintain detailed records of completed work and pending tasks daily.
Monitor store stock and usage to ensure uninterrupted operations.
Adhere to best practice operation standards, focusing on health & safety, hygiene, and quality.
Contribute to and complete project work on-site to enhance operational efficiency.
Key Skills & Experience Required:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in within manufacturing.
Proficiency in reading mechanical/electrical schematic drawings.
Experience with Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) systems.
Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative.
Dedication to improving efficiency within the maintenance department.
Willingness to work occasional overtime shifts and be flexible to meet company needs
Shift Pattern: Initially, a 2-shift rotating pattern (2 days and 2 nights). There is a potential this will move to a 4 shift pattern in the new year
