About the job We are looking for a passionate cook to prepare and serve nutritious meals for patients, staff, and visitors at St Michael’s Hospice. Prepare nutritious meals for patients, staff, and visitors following set menus. Cater to special dietary, religious, and lifestyle requirements while ensuring food safety. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen, complying with all health and safety regulations. Monitor food temperatures, record data, and ensure all food is served at safe temperatures. Supervise kitchen assistants, porters, and volunteers in the absence of the Catering Manager or Chef. Minimize food waste, ensure proper stock management, and maintain food safety documentation.
