We are looking for Trainee Careers Advisers to work across two Kent prisons as part of its expanding and successful in-custody Career Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) service. Working in a team, you will provide professional, impartial IAG to prison residents, motivate them, develop their work-related skills, and provide support to help them find employment, education, training, apprenticeships, or volunteering opportunities upon release. Closing Date: 7th October 2024. Interviews to be held on 1 st November 2024. To be eligible for this role, you must be willing to learn on the role and commit to obtaining your IAG qualification. You will build effective and professional relationships with individual clients, have a non-judgmental attitude, and desire to support people in fulfilling their potential. You will work across two prison sites (HMP Elmley & HMP Standford Hill) Contract: Permanent – full-time You must have a full driving licence and access to a vehicle.
