Become a part of an expanding UK team of Project, Programme, Construction, and Commercial Managers, with a focus on career growth, professional development, and advancement. We are looking for people with experience within the Data Centre Sector.
Our Project Management Team at WSP is responsible for guiding projects throughout the project lifecycle, implementing robust planning methodologies and monitoring and managing health & safety, time, quality, cost, and risk at each stage throughout the project. We pride ourselves on the quality of our service to our clients and enjoy long-term relationships with them.
Duties:
1. Supporting project delivery teams in the successful delivery of projects/programmes via the management of risks.
2. Supporting and collaborating with the multidisciplinary project delivery teams including project managers, planners, and commercial managers.
3. Working at the heart of the delivery of some of the largest and most exciting projects and programmes across the UK.
4. Driving risk-based decision making by introducing and driving the technical aspects of risk management in project delivery, including quantitative risk analysis.
5. Leading day-to-day client contact for your project(s).
6. Taking ownership for the successful delivery of the risk management services for your projects.
7. Undertaking line management duties, mentoring and supporting junior members of the team.
8. Championing excellence in health and safety practice to achieve safe, sustainable, and efficient outcomes that meet agreed objectives.
9. Becoming an active member of a team of changemakers.

1. Our growing PMO Risk & Value Management team encompasses 30+ risk professionals with differing backgrounds and seniority, based across the UK at our offices in London, Cambridge, Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds, Middlesbrough, Cardiff, Swindon, and Glasgow.

Qualifications:
1. Experience in the development and implementation of risk management techniques and best practices in a project environment.
2. Proactive, professional, and a driver of collaborative working environments.
3. Excellent communication skills and a passion for project and risk management.
4. Experience undertaking both qualitative and quantitative analysis using a range of techniques, including modelling using risk software.
5. Ability to interpret and challenge the outcomes of Quantitative Risk Analysis, for both cost and time.
6. Expertise in using Xactium, Safran, @Risk, PRA, and other Risk Management applications.
7. Knowledge, understanding, and experience in project and programme management services.
8. A degree or appropriate qualifications and relevant work experience in construction/engineering and/or management.
