Your new firm offers the opportunity to be based in Glasgow or Edinburgh with strong teams in each city. The firm provides a range of services to their clients including accounts, advisory, audit, and business services. You will have the opportunity to join the external audit team working on a range of varied and interesting clients.
Your new role
You’ll work with a team of part-qualified and qualified accountants leading and supporting a number of audit assignments. You will hold responsibility for assisting with the planning and overseeing a range of audits with both public and commercial clients. In addition, you will have the opportunity to get involved in adding value to your clients and providing them with an understanding of more than just the numbers.
What you'll need to succeed
Your previous experience in a similar role within an accountancy firm will allow you to understand the importance of managing a varied workload with strict deadlines, all whilst developing your commercial acumen and ability to spot additional opportunities for the firm. You will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and a desire to develop your career over the coming years. You will also have completed your professional training via ACCA or CA.
