Role Summary
Manage a caseload of patients with a range of needs, using evidence-based, patient-centred principles to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate interventions.
Supervise assistants and students.
Participate in the planning, development and evaluation of the therapy service.
Form part of an interdependent Multi-disciplinary team helping to ensure that the input is integrated into the patient's overall care and treatment plans
The post holder receives professional support and guidance from their Line Manager and Professional Lead.

We are looking to recruit dynamic, enthusiastic Occupational Therapists with a passion for Rehabilitation to join our Community Rehabilitation Team. The post available is hours and to support/participate in 7-day service delivery. You would be based at Exmouth Hospital, located within the town of Exmouth, a stone’s throw away from one of Devon’s longest beaches and miles away from the university town of Exeter. Our catchment area includes the beautiful rural locations of Budleigh Salterton and Woodbury.

We seek a forward-thinking, team-orientated Occupational Therapist to join our friendly and supportive team. You will work alongside other Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and Rehabilitation Support Workers within WEB- Community Therapy teams. You would be working with patients in their homes who present with various long-term conditions, including complex neurology and falls.
We have support from GPs, Social Care, MSK, Speech and Language, and Podiatry on-site. We have close links with the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital acute teams and our on-site Urgent Community Response and Community Ward teams. There will be an opportunity to work across on-site teams when service needs are in demand. We are passionate about patient care, and together, we work towards maximising patients’ independence and providing quality of life through assessment, rehabilitation, preventing hospital admissions, and supporting the hospital discharge process.
