Duct Hygiene Ltd (part of First Compliance Group of Companies) specialises in the servicing of commercial kitchen extraction systems, fresh air ventilation, and fire damper inspection & testing. They perform over 7,500 service visits annually, maintaining building safety and compliance for blue-chip and private sector clients throughout the UK. With over twenty years of industry experience, Duct Hygiene is committed to providing high-quality and professional services while ensuring compliance with health and safety guidelines. 2024-2025 has seen a huge increase in sales activity and we wish to continue this success by reinforcing our sales activity within Duct Hygiene and our sister-company Insuraclean Ltd.
Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Business Development Manager, with occasional travel to our North Wales and Worcester offices. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for:
* Day-to-day tasks associated with developing new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and driving sales growth for Duct Hygiene Ltd and Insuraclean.
* Development of operational plans for Key Accounts and maintain relationships with third-party vendors and strategic service partner networks, expanding on these for further growth.
* Foster continuous improvement and work with other Group businesses to identify new opportunities for Group services.
* Work alongside sales-support and marketing teams to align campaigns and collateral with new products, services and underutilised products.
* Prepare commercial proposals as well as manage SQ’s and ITT’s
* Working closely with Group Managing Director on strategic sales direction and alignment to agreed targets
Qualifications
* Sales, Business Development, and Account Management skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong negotiation and presentation abilities
* Experience in the ventilation or facilities management industry is a plus
* Knowledge of building compliance and health and safety regulations
* A Degree or similar qualification would be an advantage however this is not essential

* The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
* A willingness to travel as needed, you will need a valid UK Driving License.
Basic Salary - £55-65,000 Subject To Experience
On Target Earnings - Circa £90,000
