What we can offer you; 25 days of annual leave Access to our company pension scheme Discounts on everything from groceries to well known retailers Access to a range of resources to support your physical, mental and financial health; so you can lean on us whenever you need to One paid days leave every year to volunteer and support your community Ongoing training and development opportunities, allowing you to reach your full potential What you'll be doing; Ensuring that the route is as effective as possible - reviewing when new customer requirements are issued on a daily basis and how they fit into the route to ensure service is not affected Assisting Transport Manager in ensuring that the fleet is compliant in terms of service, MOTs, tachographs and overweights Day-to-day line management responsibility for a team of up to six with responsibility for a total workforce of upto 50 Responsible for absence management in terms of return to work interviews Liaising with customers regarding non-scheduled work and ensuring that requirement is included in the route effectively Customer retention - by maintaining an effective service Dealing with and resolving customer complaints Assist with the completion of Payroll for weekly paid staff Work within company processes and ensure that the team adhere to them What we're looking for; Effective communication skills IT skills - use of internal systems will be required Previous experience within the waste/service industry would be preferred CPC holder - Preferable but not essential IOSH (Institute of Occupational Safety and Health) - Preferable but not essential What's next?
