Job Overview
Arm has an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join its Central Engineering group to Project Manage the development of System Intellectual Property (IP) including Artificial Intelligence (AI), security and media subsystems along with our traditional IP products. The IP performs critical functions in a wide range of Silicon on Chip's (SoC's) used across the AI, Client, Automotive, Infrastructure and IoT market segments!
Responsibilities
The Project manager will work closely with the Product Manager, Technical Lead and engineering teams to lead projects from conception to final delivery to ensure quality, on-spec, and timely delivery of products. The role requires a minimal level of travel to work across Arm and with Arm Partners.
Required Skills & Experience
The candidate should have a solid track record of project management across all aspects of the engineering development lifecycle. Responsibilities include effective communication, planning, scheduling, tracking/monitoring, resource allocation, budget management, issue/risk management, change management, management of dependencies, and delivering high quality products to committed schedules.
1. Knowledge of Semiconductor, Microelectronics and/or Software (SW) development, intellectual property development flow and integration.
2. Experience within the Software or Semiconductor industry.
3. Experience with a range of development lifecycle methods (e.g, waterfall, agile, iterative)
4. Demonstrated ability in building plans from a high level to a detailed schedule.
5. Determine how best to deal with uncertainty and to generate effective metrics for tracking.

1. Experience of driving projects in a constantly evolving development environment.
2. Ability to lead team members through personal leadership and clear project goals.
3. Ability to communicate with highly skilled engineering teams and stakeholders.
4. Pro-active and pragmatic with regards to problem-solving.
5. Formal project management qualification (e.g. PMP).
6. Familiar with tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Confluence.
7. Professional, with strong attention to detail.
8. A university degree (or equivalent) in either Engineering or Computer Science is desired, although other degrees would be considered if there is confirmed experience.
