Now, we are looking for a Trainee Export Estimator to join our dynamic team at our Thurnscoe site. In this role, you’ll ensure that all products meet our high-quality standards and customer specifications, while adhering to company policies and procedures. Key Responsibilities: • Handle administrative duties for the Export Department, including literature management, exhibition planning, and maintaining records. • Process all documentation and ensure accuracy. • Estimate export enquiries and prepare detailed quotations. • Respond to client queries regarding their orders and enquiries. • Coordinate and pass on relevant information to the sales team as needed. What We’re Looking For: We’re looking for someone who is organised, proactive, and has the ability to make informed decisions. While experience in reading and understanding technical drawings is desirable (but not essential), we’re ready to provide training to help you succeed in this area. Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word, are important. Experience with engineering software packages is a plus, but further training will be provided. Experience & Skills: • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word. • Excellent telephone communication skills. • Ability to thrive in a technical environment, dealing with engineering products. • Comfortable handling multiple tasks and meeting deadlines. • Previous experience in technical sales is beneficial. • Ability to work effectively with various departments.
