You will be required to work 12.5 hours per week, 38 Weeks per year.
Monday – Friday
Working Times: 12:00pm – 14:30pm
Facilities Services (Catering) are looking for a Cook 1 (General Catering Assistant) to assist the catering manager in a busy kitchen at Wallace Hall Academy whilst carrying out the general catering tasks associated with the delivery of school meals.
You must be an energetic and enthusiastic person that will carry out the following tasks:
1. Light food preparation
2. Serve meals
3. Set up and decant the dining room
4. Set up service area
5. Cash handling as and when required
6. Dishwashing and general kitchen duties
7. Clear down and clean kitchens and staff rest areas
8. Carry out electronic paperwork
Experience is not necessary as full training will be given if required. You will also be given Basic Food Hygiene and Allergen Awareness training.
