Senior Human Resources Consultant @ AAB | HR & Business Support Co-ordinator
Responsible for ensuring their allocated subsea assets are working efficiently and effectively. Always ensuring work is performed in accordance with defined company HSEQ Management Systems.
The main objective of the role is to ensure that the company’s subsea equipment is managed safely and proactively to meet or exceed customer expectations, operating reliably, whilst adhering to predetermined budgets.
Responsibilities
* Work with the Assets Manager to define the scope, vision and structure of the Assets management
* Support the Offshore teams with fault finding and maintenance activities
* Deliver on the allocated operational KPIs whilst simultaneously further developing a culture of continuous improvement
* Contribute to creating Asset Budgets and manage the delivery to stay within these parameters (on assigned assets)
* Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure risks that may be involved or may arise during projects/operations are understood and can be mitigated
* Update all technical and support documentation on an ongoing basis.
* Technical Support (information on assets)
* Ensure all certs are in date and inform team when they are getting close to being out of date
* Keep technical action trackers up to date
* Ensure all preventive maintenance programs and defect reports are up to date
* Diagnose mechanical, electrical, software and/or system failures using established procedures. Determine the most cost-effective repair/resolution to minimize customer downtime
* Conducting system audits, ensuring adherence to processes and procedures
* Prepare reports for analysis of product failure trends and service issues
* Write and review technical reports and bulletins for internal and external customers (i.e. bulletins, trip reports, failure reports); upon request provides data supervisor with project and commercial support and innovation support with new equipment and modifications.
* As necessary, support Supply Chain function on supplier selection and budget pricing for all forms of procurement and maintenance.
* Provide technical support to Supply Chain function when needed on parts information queries, during the procurement requisition process.
Health & Safety Responsibilities
* Ensure that all HSEQ policies and procedures are understood and adhered to
* Promote HSEQ to the offshore teams and actively engage with the system
* Ensure all tasks performed adhere to the HSEQ systems and procedures in place
* Report any HSEQ issues or incidents to the onshore management team using Aratellus processes within the required timescales
* Participate in safety forums, such as vessel safety meetings and walkarounds
Any other associated tasks requested to support the business.
Candidate Requirements
* Strong communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the project team both onshore.
* Previous offshore experience relating to trenching/geotechnical drilling/ROV activities. Minimum 5 years of experience.
* BOSIET, MIST & OGUK Medical
* PC Literate with proven experience and knowledge of Microsoft Office Packages including Word, Outlook and Excel
* Relevant experience in mechanical, hydraulic or electrical/electronic engineering
* Relevant trenching, drilling or ROV experience may compensate for specific engineering experience
