As part of a finance business partnering team, you’ll play a key role in embedding best practices, improving processes, and enhancing financial decision-making across the business. What we’re looking for:
1. Experience:
2. Proven experience as a Finance Business Partner or in a similar finance role
3. Strong experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management
4. Strong background in stakeholder management, with experience influencing at all levels and partnering with senior leadership
5. Strong understanding of financial reporting, controls, and compliance
6. A proactive and strategic thinker, confident in challenging assumptions and driving change
7. Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights
What you’ll be doing:
1. Business partnering: Collaborating with senior management and department heads, providing financial insights to drive business performance
2. Strategic decision support: Translating financial data into actionable recommendations to improve efficiency, profitability, and strategic planning
3. Financial reporting and analysis: Taking ownership of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring key trends and variances are identified and presenting findings that drive action
4. Budgeting and forecasting: Developing and managing budgets, forecasts, and financial planning models
5. Performance evaluation: Conducting hands-on, deep-dive financial reviews, proactively identifying opportunities, inefficiencies, and areas for growth while implementing solutions
6. Compliance and risk management: Ensuring financial reporting aligns with accounting standards and FCA regulations, while actively improving internal controls and governance
7. Process improvement: Continuously evaluating and enhancing financial processes to drive efficiency and automation
