What's the role:
You are a driven and strategic sales professional looking to join a global leader in the mining and processing industry. In this role, you will report directly to the Area Manager – Eastern Processing and play a key role in delivering profitability and growth by developing new business opportunities and building strong relationships with customers. Your focus will be on expanding Bradken’s Processing Product Groups and identifying strategies for growth.
You are proactive in maintaining customer relationships by undertaking regular visits and interactions to understand their needs. Your ability to explore new markets and develop strategies for profitable growth in key product lines will help you deliver on corporate objectives. You will be responsible for developing and executing strategic supply agreements with key accounts, ensuring alignment with Bradken's product offerings and business goals.
You are a strategic thinker with a passion for sales planning. In this role, you will develop and execute sales plans to grow market share in your region. You will work closely with manufacturing, supply chain, and product development teams to ensure customer satisfaction while advising on product development opportunities. As part of your responsibility, you will also prepare and justify sales budgets to upper management, ensuring targets are met.
You are results-oriented, with strong skills in budgeting and reporting. You will use systems such as Salesforce to input significant customer activities, pipeline opportunities, and market intelligence. Your ability to optimise sales processes and maintain systems for measuring market share will be key to achieving your region's sales targets.
Key Technical Criteria:
* Formal qualifications in Engineering, Mining, Business, or a Trade background
* Demonstrated years of experience in Mining and associated markets
* High level of understanding of Grinding Mills and Crushers is highly regarded
* Familiarity with mineral processing plants and mining operations is preferred
* Willingness to travel
This role is based in Newcastle.
