The Infusion unit for ESHT covers both sites Eastbourne District General Hospital and Conquest Hospital St Leonards on Sea. We are a Nurse led unit which facilitates the administration of biologic therapies and other medications which require IV access in order to prevent hospital admission.
As a rapidly expanding service we are looking to take on a pathway co-ordinator who will support the management of patient flow and experience whilst maintaining the efficacy of the service.
The Infusion Unit service runs over 7 days per week, Mon-Sat from EDGH and Sun from CQ between the hours of 8am -6pm. The main patient cohorts are Gastroenterology and Rheumatology; however, the service is developing, and other specialities are beginning to utilize the service effectively.
The candidate will have their level 3 in business admin and be looking towards or have a level 4. Development opportunities will be available within the role.
They will have previous experience in managing teams and have confidence in utilising the trusts IT platforms.
The successful candidate will bring vision and ideas and their contribution to this new role for the unit will be valued and utilised.
