An esteemed Multi Academy Trust, renowned for its commitment to educational excellence, is seeking an exceptional Key Stage 1 (KS1) Teacher to join the team at one of its highly regarded schools in Macclesfield.
This role is offered on an initial 1-year fixed-term basis, starting in January 2025, with the potential for a permanent position based on performance and mutual agreement.
The Role
The successful candidate will:
1. Deliver a dynamic and engaging KS1 curriculum, fostering a love of learning in pupils.
2. Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages every child to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
3. Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop innovative teaching strategies and contribute to whole-school improvement initiatives.
4. Assess and track student progress, providing tailored support to meet individual needs.
5. Actively engage with parents, carers, and the wider school community to promote a strong partnership in children’s education.
Candidate Requirements
The ideal candidate will:
1. Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have relevant experience teaching in KS1.
2. Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the KS1 curriculum and its effective delivery.
3. Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
4. Show a commitment to continuous professional development and a passion for enhancing educational outcomes.
5. Display resilience, creativity, and a proactive approach to teaching and learning.
6. Have a proven track record of supporting students of diverse abilities and backgrounds.
