Rotational Physiotherapist (Internal Only)
**This position is open to staff working at the Trust in the 'ECT Family' this includes current East Cheshire NHS Trust employees, both NHSP and ECT bank staff, ISS staff and volunteers at the Trust. Unfortunately, we cannot accept applications from applicants not listed within these groups.**
An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and driven Band 5 Physiotherapist to join our innovative, friendly team across our rotations at East Cheshire NHS Trust.
This is an excellent career opportunity, suitable for both newly qualified and experienced Band 5 physiotherapists.
We are looking for:
* Enthusiastic, self-motivated HCPC registered Physiotherapist
* NHS placement and/or experience
* Ability to work autonomously and within the team and wider MDT
* Strong organisation and time management skills
* Commitment to patient-centred care
* Sound evidence-based clinical knowledge
* Ability to work within trust policies and professional practice
* Maintaining accurate and comprehensive patient records

Main duties of the job
To rotate through a wide range of rotations including medical, surgical, acute, community and outpatient neuro-rehabilitation, frailty, orthopaedics, rheumatology outpatient and both GP clinics, gymnasium and department based musculoskeletal therapies.
To undertake assessment of patients with a wide range of conditions and to work as autonomous clinicians, under the guidance of Clinical Specialist Physiotherapists as required, using accurate analytical skills and clinical reasoning to interpret assessment findings, making diagnoses where appropriate, identifying patient problems, setting goals, and providing an appropriate treatment plan and progression.
Upon completion of on-call competencies, to work unsupervised in an on-call and out of hours emergency service.

* Prior experience working in the NHS - broad range of NHS student placements to include, Respiratory ITU, and Outpatients
