The role will be field based covering the Cornwall region, (comprising hotels, restaurants, head office, HMO’s and light industrial operational property). From taking care of the pool plant room and handling general repairs to assisting with planned and reactive maintenance, you'll play a vital role in maintaining our facilities.

maintenance team, you'll tackle various tasks to keep everything in top-notch
condition.

This role is a part time role for 32 hours per week over 4 days, to include weekend work.
What your
days could look like:

Work
alongside the team and assist with the pool plant room requirements.
·
Help with
general repairs.
·
Contribute
to preventative, planned, and reactive maintenance tasks.
·
Assist with
setting up rooms for events.
·
Serve as
part of the backup team for waste management.
·
Help with
tasks related to carpentry, painting, decorating, and plumbing.
·
Occasionally
contribute to sustainability projects.
·
Provide
maintenance support to the business seven days a week.
·
Maintain a
welcoming attitude towards guests and colleagues.
·
Ensure
daily adherence to department standards.
·
Complete
any requests in the maintenance log promptly.
·
Make sure
that the correct supplies, such as light bulbs and emergency tool kits, are
properly stocked in their designated areas.
·
Fulfill any
other reasonable requests.
·
Always
follow health and safety requirements.
·
Use the
provided personal protective equipment (PPE) when carrying out tasks.
·
Report any
health and safety issues to the maintenance manager.
·
Assist with
waste and recycling duties.
Job skills
& requirements:
* Experience in a similar
industry, preferably hospitality
* Knowledge of the
current health and safety legislation
* The ability to diagnose
and repair day-to-day mechanical/practical problems and make necessary
repairs
* Willingness to follow
instructions
* Excellent skills in
maintenance issues such as re-decoration, electrics, basic plumbing and
tiling
* Computer literacy
* Good verbal and written
communication skills
* Full, clean driving
licence
* General maintenance
skills and swimming pool training
* Excellent time
management skills
* Driving License
* Experience in the
building industry
* Team player
* Happy working under
your own supervision as well as part of a team.
