About The Role
The Head of Sales - Digital will lead the development, execution, and management of the company’s digital sales strategies. This includes driving revenue growth through e-commerce platforms, digital marketing, and partnerships while overseeing the performance of digital sales teams. You will play a critical role in shaping the future of the company’s digital presence and ensuring customer engagement across digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and implement digital sales strategies that align with overall business goals and identify growth opportunities
* Lead the digital trading strategy to optimise sales performance across online channels and develop promotional plans, pricing strategies, and seasonal campaigns
* Monitor digital KPIs such as conversion rate, traffic, AOV (Average Order Value), and revenue and drive the adoption of best practices for SEO, CRO, and CRM tools
* Lead, mentor, and manage the digital sales team and collaborate with cross-functional teams such as marketing, IT, and product development
* Optimise all digital sales channels including website, mobile app, social media, and email marketing
* Prepare and present sales performance reports to senior leadership and stakeholders
* Foster a customer-centric approach to digital sales, ensuring a seamless customer journey and increase customer loyalty and lifetime value (CLV)
* Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts with partners and platforms
The Ideal Candidate:
* Will have proven experience (8+ years) in digital sales, e-commerce, or a related role, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership position.
* Possesses a strong understanding of digital marketing, SEO/SEM, PPC, and e-commerce platforms
* Has experience with CRM software, data analytics tools, and online sales platforms (e.g., Shopify)
* Has excellent leadership and team management skills with a record of driving high-performance teams
* Has an analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and make data-driven decisions
