Head of Dementia Care Hours per week: 40 Salary: £65,000 per annum About the role: We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Head of Dementia Care to join us at Runwood Homes. As Head of Dementia Care,we are currently refining our innovative and unique Dementia Care Programme, and need someone with the knowledge, skills, passion and experience to take this to the next level.We believe our people living with dementia can live well but only with the right support you will lead on overseeing and developing support to teams in our care homes. Our small team of Regional Dementia Leads will rely on you for guidance and direction, but also to help them achieve amazing results. AsHead of Dementia Care you will be leading on: Further development of the Dementia Care Programme Supporting, developing and guiding our homes Dementia Champions Supporting with the Wellbeing Strategy Writing and delivering dementia-related training packages Coaching and mentoring staff in dementia care, including working alongside Supporting the provision of high quality, meaningful activity for people with dementia Monitoring, assessing and reporting on set standards of dementia care in our homes Offering guidance to homes teams with individual residents dementia care needs Providing dementia advice and support to families, including awareness sessions.
