Athona Recruitment have an excellent permanent job opportunity for a CAMHS Eating Disorder Consultant to work for a private hospital based in Northwest. This is a part-time role, providing psychiatric care to a 15 bedded specialist eating disorder service.
Salary: £125,107 per annum
Position: CAMHS ED Consultant
Hours: Part time working 24 hours per week
Setting: 15 bedded CAMHS ED service
Location: North West – Manchester
Clinical Duties: Leading ward rounds, CPA meetings, risk meetings and care plan meetings, and leading treatment pathways for each patient. The role holder will be required to provide reports for CPA meetings and for the Hospital Managers, Mental Health Tribunal and Commissioners. Additionally, the role holder will be required to participate in site wide meetings including Clinical Governance and to take an active role in liaising with outside agencies promoting and developing the service.

Minimum Requirements:
1. You will hold a CCST / CCT (or equivalent) in the relevant areas of Psychiatry and will have experience of working in inpatient and outpatient settings with people with significant mental health difficulties.
2. You will have experience at consultant level psychiatry and will have held a consultant position in the NHS.
3. You will hold a current license to practice and be on the appropriate specialist register.
