Summary
We are seeking a motivated and hardworking Ice Cream Maker to join our team. You will work closely with our experienced Ice Cream Developer to learn every stage of the production process, from preparing ingredients to crafting and packaging ice cream. This role is hands-on, practical, and essential to maintaining our high production standards.

Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
* Assist in the preparation and production of ice cream according to established recipes and procedures
* Operate and maintain ice cream-making equipment safely and efficiently
* Follow health and safety guidelines, including food hygiene standards
* Measure and mix ingredients accurately
* Participate in cleaning and maintaining the workspace and equipment
* Help with stock management, including receiving deliveries and storing supplies properly
* Support the team with packaging and labelling finished products

Other requirements
We are in quite a remote location so your own transport will be required. Ice cream making is a seasonal business therefore the bulk of the working hours will be between April - September and the other months will be quieter.
