Working to contract specifications to produce CAD designs from plans/ elevations/details etc ➢ Tracking changes and develop in drawings and reporting to Contract Manager. ➢ Produce mid project variations notes, drawings and records. ➢ Co-ordinating the drawings development against site survey results ➢ Schedule quantities of materials for estimating to purchase. ➢ Attend Design Co-ordination meetings when required. ➢ Attending occasional site visits. ➢ Liaise closely with Contract Manager and various other departments within the company. ➢ Plan and manage own workload. ➢ Liaise with structural engineers to obtain calculations to prove design compliance. ➢ Engage with Manufacturers and Suppliers to ensure designs are in accordance with recommendations and warranties will be maintained ➢ Compile DDS [Design Deliverable Schedule] to ascertain required level of drawings. Update actively with drawings that can be completed, drawings in delay and report to the Design Manager and Project Team ➢ Attend Planning Meetings on all Projects that you are a stakeholder in and provide updates to the wider Project Team ➢ Produce Fabrication Drawings for all profiles, flashings and panels and issue to Procurement Department ➢ Provide internal panel elevation drawings/setting out or schematics to assist Procurement Department with material purchasing, sequencing as and when required ➢ Complete and issue full material schedules with all specifications and quantities for Procurement Department to purchase. Where necessary, complete all Manufacturers standard templates for material procurement ➢ Comply with Procurement and Priority Trackers to ensure all schedules and fabrications are issued in a timely manner to meet contractual programmes. ➢ Produce, update and maintain material and fabrication trackers. ➢ Produce design risk assessments in conjunction with Design Manager and/or Head of Technical Design ➢ The post holder will also undertake any other duties as required
