Restaurant Marketing Executive This is a pivotal role within the Brand & Marcomms team. Responsible for the support of development and implementation of PizzaExpress New Restaurant Opening & Transformation Marketing activity, delivering a distinctive and effective marketing program to achieve key customer and commercial goals. You will manage all marketing activity to support New Openings and Transformations, agreed strategic projects as well as support cross channel marketing activity. Travel within the UK&I is required as part of this remit. Please note, this role internally is known as NROT (New Restaurant Opening and Transformation) Executive. What you’ll be doing: Develop compelling New Restaurant Openings and Transformation marketing plans, including pre, during and post launch activity, to support achievement of capex targets. Work cross functionally, including consulting local GMs, TMs and property team to develop a robust understanding of the local market catchment, consumer behaviour and solicit compelling local content opportunities. Work cross functionally to identify key talking points to inform activity and content plans. Share content, copy and photography internally top optimise NROT customer awareness, consideration and visit. Work with internal partners (social media, CRM, PR, website, design …) and external agencies (media buying, PR agency, photographer …) to optimise impact of owned, earned and relevant paid channels as part of NRO / Transformations marketing plans. Regularly implement new NROT marketing tools and activation in the Online Marketing Toolkit to drive maximum business and brand impact based on common performance opportunities / challenges across the estate. Work cross functionally, including consulting local Ops team, property team and delivery team to develop a robust understanding of the local market catchment, consumer behaviour and solicit compelling local content opportunities. Work with internal partners (social media, CRM, PR, website, design …) and external agencies (media buying, PR agency, photographer …) to optimise impact of owned, earned and relevant paid channels as part of new opening marketing plans. What you’ll need: Degree in a Marketing subject or equivalent. Experience in a restaurant Marketing role within hospitality or similar industry. Confident communication skills.
