Our business areas within Team Tax include VAT/Indirect Tax, Employer Solutions, Private Client Services, Corporate Tax, Innovation and Creative Sector Reliefs, Transfer Pricing, Capital Allowances, and Tax Investigations. You’ll make an impact by: Being part of Team Tax, collaborating with people across the business and engaging directly with our clients. As you near the end of your apprenticeship, you'll gain a deeper understanding of your chosen area of tax. This will be reflected in the complexity of your client portfolio and increased responsibilities, including the rewarding opportunity to help the next generation on their journey by mentoring junior team members. What we are looking for: At RSM, we don't just look for good exam results. We think passion, personality, and originality are just as important. To be considered for this opportunity, your qualifications, skills & experience will include: A minimum of 112 UCAS points across 3 A Levels or an equivalent level 3 qualification; and 104 UCAS points across 4 Scottish Highers/Advanced Highers or Irish Leaving Certificate (Higher Level) and a predicted/achieved undergraduate degree. A team-oriented mindset, curiosity about business operations, and the interplay between taxation, personal wealth, and financial goals. Determination to tackle challenges head-on and apply yourself for the hard work necessary to become a Tax Adviser. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Comfort with numbers, an analytical mindset, and an interest in tax legislation. Must be willing to travel to client sites and other offices as required.
